There’s always something going on in The Culinary Institute of America’s restaurants. In addition to being a great place for a business lunch, dinner with friends, a special-occasion meal, or a quick cup of coffee and a pastry, they’re also the site of seasonal events and specials such as:
CIA Dining Series
The annual Dining Series, is a festival of themed lunch and dinner events held from January through March in the Hyde Park restaurants. Popular favorites include the Two-for-Tuesday Lunch, Festival of Beers, and Meet the Winemaker dinners. Past Dining Series events have also featured slow food; bistro fare; vegetarian cuisine; tapas; chowders; the foods of the Wild West; the flavors of Asia, Italy, France, and Switzerland; and more.

Senior Class Charity Events
Student-run charity dining events that will be sure to impress. Presented by CIA bachelor’s degree students. These future stars in the hospitality industry are responsible for all of the planning and execution, from menu development to the overall ambiance and design of the events.
Holiday Foods
Holiday foods prepared by our baking and pastry arts students in the Apple Pie Bakery Café. Enjoy festive treats such as Thanksgiving pies, Valentine’s Day chocolates, Irish soda bread, hot cross buns, macaroons for Passover, and Christmas gingerbread chefs. We’re always celebrating at the CIA!
